Do You Shop More Than Most Women?
Well, I don’t think I do, because I do show a certain amount of restraint. It helps that I try to go shopping with a list in hand and I do try to keep to that list as best as I can. However, since I became a mother, shopping has certainly taken a back seat. Having a kid in tow certainly takes shopping to another level altogether, but more on that in another soon-to-be-posted edition of Kaki Shopping, yeah? That being said, I do try to squeeze in a little bit of shopping as part of my me-time routine. I don’t do it often, but only when I feel like it. Just like yesterday. I grabbed a quick lunch at the cafeteria and drove out to Queensbay mall. Then I stepped into Forever 21. I was able to browse through most of the clothes on display and selected a few to try on, eventually settling on a black lacy top with a tie-back ribbon detail. I’m rather scared to go into that store now. I always end up buying something when I go there. In fact, I almost bought a pair of tights too, but decided to wait it out first.
After Forever 21, I walked into Walk In, the shoe store, and tried on a few pairs of knee-length boots. I’m still deciding if I should get them though. Are they in fashion? I had a voucher to get those boots at a 30% discount, if I wanted to. In the end, I decided to KIV those boots too. Will go and sleep over it first.
My last stop was at Aster Spring. I wanted to check out their membership programs to see if it was worthwhile to join. I finally indulged in a soothing aromatherapy facial at Aster Spring a couple of weeks back, and it was absolutely fantastic! The face and shoulder massage, especially, was thoroughly relaxing. So after I had obtained all the information I needed about the membership, I told them I would think about it first and come back if I am interested.
I had a good time shopping solo yesterday, even if it was for an hour or so. Hey, I might do it again soon. You never know…

Mommy’s day out! *grin* Shopping is therapeutical, methinks.

it is not my work watching every women who are shopping. ok..as per your argument, if i am on purchase, other women too doing purchase. suppose, i watch what they buy and to how much.. if i watch, i will take it or learn it from them how they weigh the articles or objects or items. if they buy to a level, it is not necessary for me to buy more than them. what i need, i will do. They may have amount to spend more, i am having some limitations. it is not necessary to shop more than the need. what for we go ? to shop the needs. finally, i have no knowledge about other women shopping and it is purely none of my business, i will do for my needs.
The Giddy Tigress says: Yes, we should all shop for our needs only.
