I walked in and I walked out happy as a lark
A couple of days ago, I did lunch with a gal pal of mine and after lunch, we did what most women would do after food.
We went shopping! Of course, it helped that we had lunch in the mall in the first place
My friend highly recommends shoes from Walk In, as she attests that they are reasonably priced and yet are durable. I have been into Walk In many times before, and I have never bought anything. But this time, I walked out of Walk In with this:

Oh, by the way, I just threw away at least 3 pairs of my old shoes, so I would have space to accomodate these…

A pair of pointy-toed slide-ons, which my friend claims is hardy enough to withstand running around in whilst chasing a toddler, despite the 3-inch heels. This pair is surprisingly comfy and because of the additional strap buckle across the foot, the grip is sturdy and I didn’t feel like it was slipping off. It has been ages since I bought myself a pair of pointy-toed shoes, but this maroony-brownish pair was too comfy to resist.

A pair of pretty dainty shoes, just because I felt like a princess when I wore them. I just adore the flower detail too, and since I didn’t have a pair like that, indulge I did.
Lastly, a pair of ankle-length boots, with foldable cuffs. This allowed me to change the look as and when necessary. I don’t quite dig the ribbons used to lace those boots up though, so I’ll probably look for alternative replacements soon. These boots are made of velvety material, and I was taken by how good they looked with my black leggings, which I was coincidentally wearing the other day.
And just in case you were wondering, nope, I have not gone bonkers and spent a fortune in view of tough times ahead. But wait till I tell you about the sweet deal I got on these shoes.
Walk In had a Buy 1 Free 1 promotion for selected shoes, and of course, my selection was from these. However, unlike other Buy 1 Free 1 deals where the customer is charged for the more expensive item of the two, the sales personnel told me that the promo in Walk In worked in a way where the total amount charged would be 50% off the total bill! That’s not all, there was an additional 10% discount on top of that too!
So in conclusion, my pointy-toed shoes (RM69.90), my pretty slip-ons (RM65.90) and the groovy boots (RM159.00) cost all in all RM132.66! Isn’t that just total awesomeness?
